Photographer Erin White, in collaboration with a group of courageous breastfeeding mothers, embarked on a mission that transcended the lens of her camera. Inspired by the groundbreaking work of Stephanie Karr Studios, they sought to challenge and reshape societal norms surrounding breastfeeding. The core objective was to normalize the act of breastfeeding and counteract the prevalent shame often associated with postpartum bodies.
This transformative initiative took root in Kaiserslautern, Germany, where Erin White, prompted by the local breastfeeding community, willingly volunteered to capture a group nursing photo.
